Iron Fountain hosts websites for its customers. If you believe material hosted on Iron Fountain infringes your copyright, send a notice to our designated agent. See also section 11 of our Terms of Service.

What a notice must include

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work you believe is infringed (or a representative list, if several works are covered by one notice).
  3. Identification of the material you believe is infringing and where it is on Iron Fountain, precise enough to find it — for example its full URLs.
  4. Your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
  5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.

Notices that leave out these elements may not be actionable. Knowingly misrepresenting that material is infringing can make you liable for damages under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f).

Counter-notices

If material you posted was removed or disabled and you believe that was a mistake or misidentification, you can send a counter-notice to the same agent. It must include:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the material that was removed or disabled and where it appeared before.
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  4. Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or, outside the United States, any judicial district in which Green Mango Systems, Inc. may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who sent the notice or their agent.

We forward a valid counter-notice to the person who sent the original notice and may restore the material 10 to 14 business days later unless they tell us they have filed a court action.

Repeat infringers

We terminate the accounts of repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.
